PitStop Server 08 is the indispensable preflighting and auto-correction tool for high-volume PDF workflows. Using Enfocus PDF Profiles and Action Lists, PitStop Server 08 instantly analyses, corrects, reports on and routes files based on the most stringent of requirements. These also include the PDF/X-1a, PDF/X-3 and PDF/X-4 ISO standards and the Ghent PDF Workgroup specifications.

PitStop Server 08 uses hot folders for batch processing. Simply drop your PDF files in an input folder and PitStop Server 08 does the rest, preflighting your files, correcting a wide range of pre-press problems and rejecting files that don't meet the grade.

Further streamline your workflow with Enfocus Certified PDF® technology which is fully integrated into PitStop Server 08. Enfocus Certified PDF files are immediately filtered so that PDFs without problems move through production faster than other PDF files. Certified PDF files can also be set to contain a detailed edit log and a unique rollback function that allows you to return to any previously saved state of the file. And if you need to modify PDF files with PitStop Server 08 then add Enfocus Action Lists to your workflow. These powerful and editable scripts easily automate repetitive tasks as page renumbering, colour or overprint modifications, object replacement, page resizing…

PitStop Server 08 fits seamlessly into Enfocus Switch to provide preflighting and auto-correction of PDF files in a bigger automated workflow. Automatically download PDF files from FTP servers or receive them through email. Preflight them and notify your customers automatically of problem files. Combine PitStop Server's capabilities with other key publishing tools to create PDF files, do colour management and ink optimisation, image optimisation, proofing, impositioning and more.
