LightSWITCH can even deliver files through email or FTP to the next step in the workflow, or drop them into a folder that becomes the start of the next automated process.

All this functionality is driven by the visual flow editor that is the core of all SWITCH products. The Flow Wizard makes creating flows as easy as answering a few simple questions, while the full power of the visual editor can be used to make adjustments or expand the flow. In a few minutes you can have your first flow up and running. To get you started there is a large library of pre-built examples covering many common tasks. Most organisations pay for LightSWITCH in around a month, the time they save from then on translates into pure profit

Throughout LightSwitch, variables referring to different properties of a job and its embedded metadata can be used to dynamically customise how jobs are sorted and how tools act on them. That makes it possible to customise the subject of a sent email so that the name of the job is added exactly where needed or to sort a job based on an embedded XMP field.
