The Hermstedt Angelo PCI card is the ideal solution if you require highest bandwidth dial-up connections or many simultaneous remote connections. It can be used with Windows NT and Windows 2000/XP as well as with Apple Macintosh computers.

Angelo offers 30 B channels on a short PCI card. All channels can be accessed through a single telephone number. This makes Angelo the perfect communications adapter for high-quality dial-in servers, be it file transfer solutions, or Internet, RAS, Windows Terminal Servers, and MetaFrame Servers.

The individual channels can be bundled into faster connections, for example for multi link PPP or for high-end Leonardo file transfer solutions.

In addition to the well-established Hermstedt two or four-channel bundling scheme, it is now also possible to bundle up to thirty channels for a maximum through-put of 1,920 kbit/s. This means that the contents of a whole CD can be transmitted uncompressed in less than an hour.

Angelo is fully "leopatible" with existing Leonardo and Grand Central Pro remote sites. File transfers can be established with more than four channels to any remote station that is also equipped with an Angelo card. Angelo is an ideal solution for transferring large print jobs in a flexible and reliable way.

Traditional modem applications can now also be used with ISDN. Under Windows this is achieved with a virtual COM port, on a Macintosh with the help of LeoPort and an ISDN tool for CTB under Mac OS 9 and with the help of Communication Manager under Mac OS X.
