iDropper Enterprise version 1.4  is now available for general release after completion of beta testing. Also now includes Hermstedt StingRay support among other additional features.

New Features in this Release

(+) Win32 Windows Droplet: Windows droplets no longer require Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 to be installed on the end-user’s system. You no longer have to ask your customers, clients and/or colleagues to install the .NET framework in order to use your droplets.

(+) SFTP for Windows Droplets: Windows droplets can now be configured to use Secure FTP. 

(+) E-Mail Permissions: You can now decide whether to allow your end-users to see and edit e-mail fields (From: address, Subject); to allow them to see the fields, but not edit them; or to not allow them to see these fields at all.

(+) Hermstedt StingRay FTS integration added

Fixed in this Release

(+) Fixed a bug that stopped Windows droplets being saved with custom icons because of problems handling graphics on Intel Macs.

(+) Improved the way iDropper checks for updates.

(+) Web Scripts' "notes" are now available to users through a dialog, as they are in Email notification.

(+) Improved settings checks look for possible problems.

(+) Mac droplets tweaked for Mac OS X 10.5 compatibility.

(-) Removed "Unique Names" feature because SFTP does not support it.

(-) Removed "Show first time only" from Show Splash setting on Branding Pane.
