FileCatalyst Workflow

FileCatalyst Workflow

FileCatalyst Workflow combines two powerful web-based managed file transfer workflows: submission and distribution. Users may submit files to your organisation for processing, with full tracking at every stage; or they may securely distribute files to anybody with an email address. Additionally, one or more “file areas” allow users to store files in your organisation's private cloud for online access from anywhere in the world.

Submission

Receiving files from external sources is a critical process to many organisations. But if files are sent ad-hoc via email, standard FTP or physical media, they can go missing and with zero tracking or accountability. Adding FileCatalyst Workflow to your web presence gives you the ability to track delivery as well as the file status in your organisation's workflow.

Distribution

Email attachments have size limitations, and other online services don't provide a high level of security and private tracking. Using FileCatalyst Workflow, users may send files of any size to anybody with an email address. The entire process is tracked within FileCatalyst Workflow, allowing users and administrators to see the status of the transfer task as it progresses.

Anything In-Between

There's no reason to limit users to one or the other. With FileCatalyst Workflow's flexible model, you may freely collect information and track files through both submission and distribution workflows, created as a single “job”.
