Thru Breaks Down The Language Barrier to Global File Exchange
Today, May 19th 2014, at Gartner AADI in London, the leading cloud Managed File Transfer (MFT) company, Thru, is releasing server version 8.0, known as V8. This update allows customers to use the platform in their own native language.
Nick Blanton, VP of Marketing for Thru, says “Enterprises can now transfer large files securely around the globe using a platform that speaks local languages.”
Files sent with Thru are transferred utilizing their global network of data centers for low latency transfers around the world. The recipient of the file is notified and directed to the Thru portal to download the file. With V8 those users can now select their native language to navigate on the portal, creating a simpler user experience.
Connie Stanton of HKS, a client of Thru and one of the world’s largest architectural firms, has completed construction projects in 84 countries and comments that “With over 6,000 projects live from China to Doha, having a secure file transfer platform which supports multiple languages streamlines our day-to-day business file exchanges.”
The update also includes several other features for enterprise file transfer, including a new GUI.
